Sire of Foal – Lord Adonis
Lord Adonis (2008, 16.2hh) was bred, raised, and owned in Germany by renowned international Grand Prix jumper René Tebbel. In 2010, he was presented and approved at the Oldenburg Hengst-Tage, and was imported to the U.S. in June of 2012Shortly after quarantine, Lord Adonis competed in the 2012 North American Stallion Performance Test, earning:
7th in Dressage – 110.78
7th in Jumping – 111.83
8th Overall – 111.58
An impressive achievement given his limited preparation time. Notably, he was the only stallion to earn Elite status when inspected by the Hanoverian Society. As stated in the AHS Magazine, the judges commented: “Lord Adonis impressed because of his good type and long legs. He is clearly still developing. His jumping ability was especially impressive, and in the dressage test he received high rideability values.” His sire, Lordanos, is well known for producing offspring with a ground-covering walk and a quality canter.
